Katelyn Guy serves as the Operations Coordinator for New York Helmets to Hardhats. Katelyn joined the New York H2H staff in 2018 initially working as a volunteer. Katelyn is a 2018 Graduate of Coastal Carolina University having obtained a degree in MultiDisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Social Welfare and Public Health. Upon graduation, Katelyn volunteered at Mens Homeless Shelter in South Carolina where she helped Veterans secure employment. Katelyn graduated with the hopes of doing non-profit work for veterans. After superior dedication to Helmets to Hardhats, and her ability to continue in the support of our H2H veterans, Katelyn transitioned from volunteer to our very own NY Operations Coordinator.
Katelyn comes from an extensive background of Union Construction and connections to the New York Building Trades. Katelyn is a proud daughter and sister of two Local 7 Tile, Marble, & Terrazzo members. Katelyn has seen directly what Union Construction can do for a family, and the innumerable benefits that come along with. As the product of a successful union family, Katelyn now hopes to bring union benefits to the veteran population of New York.
When Katelyn is not hard at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.
